The Organic and Natural products space has been growing in the region for a while now with many new retailers and brands setting up shop. The rise of social media – where consumers are made aware of the current health trends - coupled with government incentives, gives a positive push to the industry. Nearly everyone knows someone who is all-organic, and many people are trying to incorporate a few organic and natural elements into their daily life as well.
There are several interesting products from all over the globe that have not yet made their way into the Middle East region. The Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo is a platform for these companies to introduce their products to leading trade buyers. Nearly 200 exhibitors have signed up for the expo, bringing with them their exciting, healthy and ethical product lines. Nearly 60% of these exhibitors will be launching their products for the first time in the region at the Organic & Natural Expo.
NAMED, a leading Italian producer is all set to launch their high quality natural remedies, food and dietary supplements. Their medicines have a therapeutic effect that go far beyond curing symptoms - aiming to tackle the root cause of diseases by regulating the natural balance of the body. Their products are gluten-free, OGM-free and BSE/TSE-free and they are backed up by the support of clinical and scientific studies. Their goal is to enhance the quality of life by improving physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Staying on the topic of health, the expo is hosting a cutting-edge alternative technology for treating ailments. Bioquantique, uses SCIO/INDIGO/EDUCTOR technology that scans bodies akin to a virus-scan on a computer. The machine looks for everything from viruses, deficiencies, weaknesses, allergies, abnormalities to food sensitivities. It calculates the biological reactivity and resonance in the body, and suggests needs, dysfunctions and vulnerabilities.
Another noteworthy exhibitor is Ukranian Organics, one of the largest manufacturers of 100% organic soil improvers and fertilizers. The fertilizers are based on sapropel. These are centuries old bottom sediments of freshwater lakes, formed from decomposed aquatic vegetation, plankton, soil human particles that contain organic matter and remnants of living organisms. The fertilizers are specifically designed for sandy soil, which is the right match for the UAE and rest of the Middle East.
Finally, the cosmetics and beauty segment is also well represented - Argana Authentic, launched in 2012 by Najat Abdi, was created keeping traditional Moroccan beauty secrets in mind. Their products use 100% pure Argan Oil originating from Morocco, and are highly effective in skincare. The participating countries at the Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo are more than ever before. Many are also participating for the first time. The 10 country pavilions will bring a diverse range of organic and natural products to the region.
